Its afternoon Sunday 14th of February 2010, I was walking to the RIPAS canteen to buy some food for lunch. On my way inside this canteen I saw one lady of golden aged patient were looking a food for lunch. By the time I'm already find a food to buy, this patient asking me a question, " Nada mee halus kah bejual ani wang? " then Im answer to her " Awu ada Bu....". Just after I'm pointing the noodle that she request, I help her to get the noodle.
The lady then smile with saying thank you to me. I'm slowly move to the next corridor to find some desert, then the lady asking another question " Berapa harga mee ani wang?" then I'm reply " Harga $1 sja tu Bu...". Just after I'm reply the question of her, she then looking to her pocket.
In the middle she looking to her pocket, inside the canteen were fully of customer who came to buy some food and desert by then I'm looking for the fried banana for my desert but sadly what I'm looking for is out of stock.
At the same time the lady were saying some words inside the canteen that she needs attention to the customer who came that she didn't have enough money. The lady said " Nada cukup duit ku kan pembayar makanan ku...aku lapar...". Just after she saying smoothly most of the customer who were inside the canteen trying to avoid her and quickly go to the counter to pay their own food.
I'm look at this lady, she's look in sad and her eye's about to cry. She's standing just right at the corner of the entrance of the canteen and waiting for someone give her attention. Slowly I approached her and took her noodle that she wants and bring it to the counter. I help her to pay the noodle then I give it back to her.
She looks happy with tears. Slowly she walked back to the wad where she's been admitted.
